2025. 5. 5 - Maryam received "Translational Research Prize (Apple iPad)" by the BU Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Partnerships. 2025. 5. 1 - Maryam received People's Choice Award (audience-selected) at the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition. 2025. 4. 30 - Lexi received 3rd Place for Best Poster Presentation at the 2025 Smart Energy Symposium at Binghamton University (Topic: Moist Electric Generators) 2025. 4. 10 - Our research article on "dissolvable probiotic-powered biobattery" has been featured in news media outlets. 2025. 3. 25 - Our research article on "Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing using Paper-based Organic Transistors" has been accepted by iScience. (IF. 4.6) 2025. 3. 20: Maryam has received the Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Research for 2025. Congratulations!! 2025. 3. 17 - Our research article on "Transient Biobattery using Probiotics" has been accepted by Small. (IF. 13.0) 2025. 3. 4 - Prof. Choi has been named a 2025 Career Champion! This designation honors faculty and staff who have made a profound impact on students' career development. Honorees are nominated by students in recognition of their guidance, montorship, and support in shaping their professonal journeys. 2025. 2. 13 - Four papers have been accepted for oral and poster presentations at The 23rd International Conference on Solid-State Sensors, Actuators and Microsystems (TRANSDUCERS 2025). Prof. Choi plays a pivotal role in the confernce, serving on the Executive Technical Program Committee.
2025. 1. 20: We successfully made two research presentations at IEEE MEMS 2025 Conference.
