Dr. Zahorian is currently the Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Binghamton since he joined the faculty as a professor in 2006. Previously, he was a professor and chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. He received his BS degree from the University of Rochester in 1969 and his MS and Ph.D degrees from Syracuse University in 1973 and 1978, respectively; all in electrical engineering. He specializes in research involving speech communication, real-time digital signal processing, and applications of microprocessors to biomedical engineering. |
