We welcome enthusiastic and capable UNDERGRADUATE and GRADUATE students to join our research group to work on exciting projects in the field of micro/nano/biofluidics and optics. Potential projects include, but are not limited to, optical sensing techniques, micro/nanoscale mass transport, lab-on-a-chip systems for biomedical applications, biologically-inspired microfluidic technologies, and colloidal and adhesion dynamics of biological cells. Students will have hands-on learning experience in microfabrication, experimental techniques, and quantitative thinking development in both theoretical modeling and data analysis. Interested persons with science (biology, chemistry, physics) and engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical, computer science) backgrounds are encouraged to contact Dr. Huang ((phuang@binghamton.edu) for further inquiries.
